Divi AI is pretty cool but it doesn’t fit all websites or all user roles. Here’s how to hide Divi AI from the Divi Visual Builder without custom code.

Disabling Divi AI, Step by Step
- Login to your WordPress dashboard
- Go to Divi » Role Editor in the left hand menu
- Now you can disable Divi AI for all Administrators by switching the “Divi AI” toggle from Enabled to Disabled
- Click the Editor tab in the purple bar and flip the “Divi AI” toggle to disable Divi AI for all users with the user role Editor as well
- Click the green Save Divi Roles button in the top left corner to save your changes.
That’s it! Now you have disabled Divi AI for all Administrators and Editors on your website. All Divi AI buttons and prompts are now hidden in the Divi Visual Builder.
Disable Divi AI for Administrators and/or Editors in the Divi Role Editor settings.
Pro Tip: The user roles Author, Contributor and Shop Manager doesn’t have access to Divi AI by default, so you don’t need to make any changes there.
How To Separate Administrators and Editors
Not sure which user roles different users have? No worries, it’s easy to find out:
- Go to your WordPress dashboard
- Click Users in the left hand menu
- Now you can see a list of all your WordPress users and their roles.
If you are the only single user in a WordPress installation, you are always an Administrator.
In this example, we have two WordPress users: Victor Duse is an Administrator and Nock Rich is an Editor.
That’s all for today!
